Except decriminalization won't stop the violence and the corruption. I know decriminalization seems like a solution to the problem while still feeling morally superior but real changes wont start to take effect until it is allowed to be sold legally.

I wonder what it means, if in 5 - 10 years of decriminalization, we suddenly see Mexico's violent crimes, incarcerations, medical costs, etc. go down. I wonder what the anti-legalization folks in the U.S. would say to that. Of course, I also wonder what happens if there's no change at all, and what the pro-legalization folks would say.

wow, this is going to improve Mexico, a lot. Less money funneling to organized crime, less money, less resources of police. More resources put to productive things.
